Summary

For Search Ads (Shopping), the following new bidding strategies will be added to the automated bidding feature.
  • Maximize Conversion Value (with Target Value) (Beta)
    Bids are automatically adjusted to maximize conversion value while aiming to achieve a return on ad spend that meets or exceeds the target value.
  • Maximize Conversion Value (without Target Value) (Beta)
    Bids are adjusted to maximize conversion value within the daily budget specified for the campaign.
  • Maximize Clicks
    Bids are automatically adjusted to maximize the number of clicks within the daily budget specified for the campaign.

Preparation Required Before Using "Maximize Conversion Value"

To use "Maximize Conversion Value," conversion tracking settings and installation of the conversion tracking tag are required. If these settings have not yet been configured, we recommend completing them before the scheduled implementation date.

Conversion Setting Details

  • Setting "Value per Conversion"
    "Value per Conversion" can be configured on the conversion settings screen or through the conversion tracking tag.
  • Setting "Use for Automated Bidding"
    By setting "Use for Automated Bidding" to "Enabled," the system can begin learning in advance using the conversion data that will be used for automated bidding.
