Summary

With the launch of LY Ads Display Ads, restricted categories have been added. This change was implemented as part of the integration of advertising platforms (*1) to unify ad account review standards and ad delivery guidelines.

The following new categories have been added.
  • Electronic cigarettes: electronic cigarettes and related goods
  • Treatment of sexual body parts: general treatments and services related to reproductive organs provided by medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Sexually suggestive creatives (digital entertainment): expressions that may give users a sexual impression due to excessive exposure, sexual situations, gestures, or facial expressions, even when sexual intent is not explicit

Notes

With the implementation of new restricted categories, there may be additional limitations on the ads shown, depending on the placement.
It may affect ad delivery, so review your creatives in advance.
